Classroom Language

►Use the Speaking Mat to interact with the teacher or your classmates.

►Try to use as much English as possible “My Spy” will know.

►Participation is compulsory and necessary.

  ACTIVITY 1: Easy Instructions. Total physical response.  

Come in.                                      Go out.                                             Sit down.

Stand up.                                     Come out to the front of the class.      Close your chrome book

Stand by…                                    Put your hands up.                             Put your hands down.

Hold your books/ pens/… up.          Show me your pencil/ rubber/…          Take out your notebook.

  ACTIVITY 2: Those sentences are usually told in the English class. Who says each one? The teacher, the student or both.

Can you repeat that, please?

Again, please.                                                          

I don't understand.

Can I answer that question?
